Deacons Ministry
The Ethiopian Evangelical Christian Church welcomes you to our Deacons Ministry, where we aim to serve the community with love, compassion, and dedication. Our deacons work in partnership with the Pastor and the board of elders to provide support and assistance to members of the congregation and the community at large. We believe in spreading the message of Christ through our actions and are committed to creating a church environment that is welcoming, uplifting, and empowering.
Duties & Responsibilities

Church Stewardship and Support
-
Supporting the church in the achievement of its mission.

Demonstrating consistent stewardship through the deacon's example in tithing to the church.

Being available to serve on a Deacon Ministry Team, contributing to the overall ministry and support structure of the church.

Pastoral Care and Support
-
Caring for the church’s members and other persons in the community.

Demonstrating Christ-like consecration, loyalty, prayer support, and faithfulness to the local church program.

Being available to assist and serve at worship services, including assisting the pastor and serving the Lord's Supper.

Evangelism and Outreach
-
Proclaiming the gospel to believers and unbelievers.

Visiting the sick, needy, and indifferent of the church.

Encouraging and strengthening new converts and the spiritually weak.
